catcher in the rye 6-10

in this chapter stradlater gets back from his date with Jane and wont tell holden about it right away but then he tells him that they hung out in his baseball coaches car. holden is worried now because stradlater has a bad reputation with girls. he then asks for his paper and holden gives it to him but he did it over a glove of his little brothers . stradlater is very mad about this and they start to argue. holden gets beat up by his roommate and he decides to leave then and not wait till wednesday . he walks to the train station and gets on not really knowing were he is going. he meets up with one of his former classmates mom. he tells her that her son is the best kid there but he is really the biggest snob. he then tries to call a girl that he thinks would come mess around with him she says no . he then goes to a hotel and sleeps.

respons: this chapter was interesting because holden really starts to crack in it so you start to get to know hm.
