in this chapter you see the guests of the party talking about who they think gatsbey is . some say he killed a man some say hes a bootlegger but even with that thought they still come to his party which questions there own charactor.at this point you dont know whio the bad guys are and who ,other than nick , the good guys are. also you get the idea that there are different sets of rules for rich and poor when nick is riding with gatsbey and they are speeding when a cop comes up to them and gatsbey waves a card and the cop leaves and apologizes. you are also introduced to mr. wolfshine he fixed the world series he comes off as a bad man." black sox scandal my fav.team".this chapter is also were you find out that daisey knew gatsby before the war. you also get the feeling that nick and jordan like each other. all of the friends make arangments to meet with daisey.
