this chapter you find that the main ncharactors name is nick. he just got out of the army and moved to get some excitment.he has a personality that makes odd people attracted to him. he lives in west egg . some of his reletives live there and they are filthy rich. tom is a big man and he is controling and arogant . daisy is sweet and quiet and mysterious. they talked about racism , role of women in society and class diferences. the author doesn't want us like tom. you know this because he describes him as aggresive cruel dominant and arogant. he is a racist and doesnt believe in the rights of wemon and is in to class seperation. he is for the scientific push. and he is cheeting on his wife.the two other charactors gatsbey and jordan are discribed as mysterious right now.
