gatsby chapter 5

this chapter starts out with nick coming home and thinking that gatsbys house was on fire. he goes to see and finds out that it is just a house party.gatsby and nick get to talking and gatsbey askes if nick wants to do some "work" for him and that if he does he will make a lot of money. nick tells that something fishy is going on and says politly no. gatsby andnick talk about doing other things but nick says that it is late an that he should get hoome . but before he leaves he tells gatsby that he is having daisey over for tea the next day. the following day gatsbey and nick are sitting waiting for daisy and gatsby is getting really nervous just when he wants to leave she arives right on time. they shyly talked for a while and they gatsbey askes them to come over to his house. they go over and explore and admire it then nick leaves them alone.
