chapter 2 gatsbey

in this chapter we meet tom's "friend" . they have there own little apartment that is acked with way too much furnature and painting that dont belong there. you also get an idea of how aggresive tom is when he punches mrs. wilson and breaks her knows for saying daiseys name when he told her not to. in chaqpter 2 you get a good sense that the rich want to make it known and the poor want to be rich. another big part of the chapter was when tom and myrtle through a party for some of the pther people that lived in the apartment. all of the people there are poor accept tom . all of the conversation was about rumors and social status.
