in this chapter henry wakes up in the camp as a friend tells him his bandadge has sliped. his friend try's to help him but henry tells him he's clumsy and to do it more carefuly . then they all sit and talk about who won the last battle . two soldiers get into an argument about spilled coffe. one of the soldiers that was sitting around tells them to knock it off till after the next battle. they flick him off. then they continue talking bout the next battle.
this chapter showed what live in the camp was like.
